Kelly has taught piano and voice lessons for over 18 years specializing in customizing lessons to each individual. She can teach the note method and by ear: expanding the horizons of what it means to be a 'well-rounded musician.’ Kelly has a passion to train life-long musicians and an incredible ability to tap into the creativity of each individual student to help them become the best they can be.
Steven Mento
Piano
Steven Mento received his Bachelor of Music degree in applied piano from the University of Delaware, a Masters degree at Temple University in piano pedagogy with a minor in composition, and a doctorate in piano performance at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Mento has performed in various locations in the United States and in Vienna, Austria, (Vienna Austria this August 2023 with the Golden Key Festival) and has performed at Merkin Hall and the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall while under the auspices of the Prestige Agency of New York. He has written works recently for string quartet and a chamber work for the MusiCaribe Chamber Orchestra, as well as performing solo piano recitals at the Highland Beach Library and The Ascension Lutheran Church in Boynton Beach. Mark Beaupre
Drums and Percussion
Mark has been passionately playing drums for over 20 years. He has a way of connecting with students that gets them excited about drums and keeps them motivated to learn. He is not only an instructor, but also a performer. He actively plays with three local bands, at his church, and anywhere he can!
Geoff Leach
Guitar
Geoff has been playing guitar for almost two decades. He is an extremely talented and can play most instruments well. His teaching style is professional and personable. He can teach all genres and all ages.
Derrick Hatch
Drums
Derrick has been playing drums for 23 years. In that time, he has had the honor of playing in various jazz ensembles, orchestras, drumlines, worship groups, blues and rock bands. For 6 years, he also taught a local inner-city drum ensemble that performed in events at the Kravis Center and Rosemary Square. His first job/business was teaching drum lessons, and he is honored to be doing that once again through the Creative Arts Academy.
Allen Webber
Voice and Piano
Allen Webber has recently retired from his position as associate professor of music at Palm Beach State College, where he has taught since 1989, heading up the music theory and ear-training/sight-singing curriculum. At PBSC, he also taught music appreciation, private percussion, and private voice, and directed the Concert Chorus there from 1990-92 and 2021-2024. He also volunteered his time to teach at weeklong summer music camp in Haiti. Additionally, he has a Masters in Music and he has completed all coursework toward a PhD in music theory at The Florida State University.
Since 2018, he has sung with Espressivo, a West Palm Beach area choir directed by John Weatherspoon, singing in Carnegie Hall in June of 2023 with the National Concert Chorus.
Allen enjoys reading, playing the piano, watching baseball, and cheering for the athletic teams at Palm Beach State College.
